- Simply vacuum or sweep your leather floor once a week or as needed.
- Wipe up spills quickly with cloth or sponge.
- Dust-mop (with a non-treated, clean mop) or vacuum regularly to remove loose soil and fine dust particles that can scratch the finished of leather floors.
- Never use wet mops, highly acidic or alkaline cleaners, non-recommended commercial cleaners or polishes, treated mop that has been used to clean other floors or furniture.
- Place felt floor-protector pads on furniture feet and protect your leather floor from hard castors on moveable furniture.
- When it comes to maintenance, leather is usually very easy to take care of. On a weekly basis, you can care for your leather flooring by using a vacuum cleaner which has a soft bristle brush.

Every month or so, you should be able to mop the leather floors using distilled water, especially in areas where there are high levels of activity. In case of spills, you should blot spills immediately and try not to wipe them off.
